TH-NL Architects & Designers Architecture- and design office TH-NL (formerly known as 'Van Hoeken Thoes Architecten B.V') is established in 1983 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands by architects Peter Thoes and Ir. Frans van Hoeken. In alliance with overseas branch 'Th-CN' [Thoes.Ltd] based in Hong Kong, we develop symbiotic identities by cross-pollination of architectural design and visual communication for both private- as well as corporate clients. The fusion of design disciplines and interdisciplinary teamwork enables the creation of comprehensive design solutions, translating corporate personality into unique, distinctive space which reflects the ethos and vital principles of an organisation or entity. Architecture embodies personality, reflecting and reinforcing the moral fibres of an organisation by three-dimensional 'branding'. Architecture becomes icon, the building turns canvas, the facade as medium. This design philosophy also applies to independent private projects whereby the translation of the individuality and personal wishes of the user is the starting point. We design multidisciplinary, with integration of from with function and sensible application of sustainable materials. The trusting relationship between client and architect is something we consider to be unique and important in each and every new assigment we undertake and is decisive for the succes of an intended cooperation. Focus point for effective realisation of a project is the intensive involvement of the designer in the construction process, elaborating the design detailing and supervising the construction team. Our experience in utility construction has resulted in a fluent cooperation with numerous external consultants. |
TH-NL Architecten & Ontwerpers Architectuur- en ontwerpbureau Th-NL (voormalig Van Hoeken Thoes Architecten B.V) is opgericht in 1983 te Amsterdam door Architecten Peter Thoes en Ir. Frans van Hoeken. In alliantie met de overzeese vestiging te Hong Kong 'Th-CN' [Thoes.Ltd] ontwikkelen wij integrale huisstijlen door kruisbestuiving van architectonisch ontwerp & visuele communicatie voor zowel particuliere als zakelijke opdrachtgevers. De fusie van ontwerp disciplines en interdisciplinaire samenwerking waarborgt een totaal-ontwerp, dat architectuur (ruimte) en visuele communicatie (beeld) verweeft tot een integrale identiteit die de waarden en vitale principes van een organisatie weerspiegeld. Architectuur vormt een deel van de persoonlijkheid en beleving van een onderneming, waarbij de architectonische ruimte de ziel van de onderneming inkapselt door middel van driedimensionale 'branding' en op symbolische wijze de ethos van een organisatie reflecteert. Architectuur word icoon, het gebouw als canvas, de gevel als medium. Deze ontwerp visie wordt ook toegepast in het kader van autonome particuliere projecten, waarbij het vertalen van de persoonlijkheid en wensen van de gebruiker een belangrijk uitgangspunt vormt. TH-NL ontwerpt multidisciplinair, met het oog op integratie van vorm met functie en het sober toepassen van duurzame materialen. De vertrouwensrelatie tussen opdrachtgever en architect achten wij uniek en van belang bij elke nieuwe opdracht en is doorslaggevend voor het slagen van een voorgenomen samenwerking. Uitgangspunt voor de realisatie is het gegeven, dat de ontwerpers zelf de detaileringen uitwerken en het bouwteam leidt. Korte verbindingslijnen zijn hierdoor gewaarborgd. Door de jarenlange ervaring in de utiliteitsbouw is er een vanzelfsprekende samenwerking onstaan met externe adviseurs.
